Environmental

The Senquip QUAD-C3 is designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and is suitable for industrial, mining, fleet and agricultural applications.

The enclosure is rated to IP67, meaning that it is dust tight, with no ingress of dust permitted, and protected against the effects of immersion in water to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes.

The chart below describes IP ratings and how to interpret them.

An internal Gore vent allows pressure equalisation between the interior of the enclosure and the environment, helping prevent moisture from being drawn into the enclosure.

The Senquip QUAD-C3 can be operated at temperatures between -30°C and 80°C.

Material Specification

The enclosure and fittings have been selected for resistance to salt spray and common industrial chemicals such as petro-carbons. UV-stabilised materials allow the QUAD-C3 to be mounted in direct sunlight.
